About the Orangery
The Orangerie at Château de la Motte-Basse is an 18th-century residential building, dedicated in its day to a chaplain living on the property. It has a double aspect (north/south), with a view over the formal gardens and the pond.
Very quiet, surrounded by surrounding walls, the interior is bright and restful, with beautiful period woodwork in the 1st floor bedroom.
